Course Outcome

The course aims to provide an overview of the challenging EU and national targets set in terms of energy savings as well as the incentive and policy measures needed to achieve them.

Description

In light of the peculiarities that each sector (i.e. industrial, civil, commercial) will be provided an examination of the barriers present in the development of energy efficiency interventions as well as possible solutions to overcome them from an economic and contractual point of view. In particular, a detailed examination of all forms of national incentives as well as existing European funding will be provided. From a contractual point of view, a review of possible forms of energy performance contract (EPC) and to project financing in public administration will be given.
