Extraordinary Commissioner picks IMC.
Commissioned at the end of 2014, the extraordinary commissioner had to deal with restructuring the bank by overhauling and redesigning the entire system of controls and organizational structure. IMC was chosen as the ideal partner to achieve this goal.
The project activities involved the design of the new organizational structure, surveying the operational working methods, and designing the integrated control system (Internal Audit, Compliance, and Operational Risk) using the ARIS platform and activating management workflows.
Founded in Chieti as Cari Chieti in 1862, it is one of the first savings and credit institutions in southern Italy.
In 2014, it was placed under receivership by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. In the following year, Nuova Cari Chieti was established following the compulsory liquidation of Cari Chieti. It counts 65 branches and 600 employees.
